Mode of Action :
- V-CLOZINE is a competitive antagonist of para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), a precursor of folic acid in protozoa and bacteria.
- It inhibits folic acid synthesis in protozoa and bacteria.
Indication :
- For treatment of Coccidiosis in poultry caused by species of Eimeria such as E. tenella, E. necatrix,E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. mivati, E. praecox and also by E. adenoeides, E. meleagrimitis etc.
- For treatment of other mixed bacterial infections.
Dosage & Administration:
- For coccidiosis caused by all species of Eimeria (Except E. Tenella and E. necatrix), AvianMalaria and Leucocytozoon - 1 gm of V-CLOZINE powder per 1 litre of drinking water for 3 days.
- For E. tenella and E. necatrix - 1.5 to 2 gm of V-CLOZINE powder per 1 litre of drinking water is indicated.
Meat: 28 days, Eggs: 7 days
