Description :

• Bio-BanTox Plus is a combination of completely purified dipolar phyllosilicates with two main components. Both components are very potent and are complimentary in their binding spectrum. Therefore Bio-Ban Tox Plus will give maximum effectiveness and binds maximum mycotoxins. Bio- BanTox Plus is formulated to adsorb and retain mycotoxin in GIT. Bio-BanToxTM Plus forms stable and irreversible complexes with mycotoxins that are excreted by the bird through faeces. Through this they neutralize the harmful effects they could have. 
• Bio-BanTox Plus is the new generation of mycotoxin binders that involves a special process, in which the clay is purified looking in to net adsorption of specific mycotoxins.
• Bio-BanTox Plus also binds some endotoxins produced by entero pathogens, thus it prevents non specific diarrhoea caused by this endotoxins.

Truths of Mycotoxicosis in Poultry

• Mycotoxin contamination can severely affect production parameters like feed intake, feed conversion ratio, weight gain, egg production, shell quality and hatchability.
• Impair disease resistance through the alteration of various defense mechanisms. Interferes with normal T-cell and B-cell immunity, including suppression of normal antibody production (Immunosuppression).
• This results in vaccination failure and leads to more usage of Antibiotics as birds more prone to infections by bacteria and viruses such as E. coli, Salmonella, etc.
• Mycotoxins have the potential to interfere with lymphoid cells functions which is similar to the effects of IBD infection. This situation will worsen if mycotoxins and IBD infections occur simultaneously.
• Besides the viral agents, mycotoxins are also responsible for immuno suppression. The damage caused by mycotoxins may confused with other viral infections.
• LOW LEVELS of mycotoxins cause CHRONIC ATROPHY of thymus and of the bursal follicles. HIGH LEVELS of mycotoxins cause NECROSIS of the thymus and of the bursal follicles.

AFLATOXIN : Affects bursal follicles decreasing production of lymphocytes. Atrophy of the thymus affecting cellular immunity.
OCHRATOXIN :Nephrotoxin produces macroscopic lesions that can be confused with the Nephrosis of IB or Urolithiasis.
TRICHOTHECENE : Oral lesions similar to Chicken Pox. In layers or breeders, loss of pigmentation, thin egg shell, similar symptoms of Infectious Bronchitis or EDS. Affects cell wall membrane, reduces lymphocytes and causes necrosis of lymphoid tissues.
FUMONISIN : The new toxin affecting poultry. Lesions similar to Aflatoxin. Toxicity due to Fumonisin remains unnoticed as is confused with toxicity due to Aflatoxin.
Fumonisin at 1 ppm shows the symptoms similar to Aflatoxin.
ZEARALENON : Causes reproductive disorders due to oestrogenic effect.
VOMITOXIN : Shorter and thinner villi of Duodenum and Jejunum.
PESTICIDES : Pesticide residues lower the immune response as they exert lymphocytotoxic effects leading to vaccine failures.
