PIPERAZINE HEXAHYDRATE SOLUTION 56.3% W/V

Mode of Action of Piperazine:

• PIPERAZINE HEXAHYDRATE acts as Anthelmintic by paralysing the parasite which allows the host body to easily remove the parasites from gut.
• It Decreases the response to Acetylcholine by muscles of Worm, leading to decreased action of Acetylcholine on Neuromuscular Junction. This leads to decreased contraction and Flaccid Paralysis. Thus the Worm is unable to maintain its position in Gut and is Expelled by normal Peristalsis.
• It causes Hyper-polarization by acting like GABA, leading to Paralysis of muscles of Worm.

Dose:
4-6 weeks 25 ml/100 birds (50 mg/kg body wt.)
6-12 weeks 50 ml / 100 Birds (100 mg/kg body wt.)
12 weeks and Above 80 ml/100 Birds (200 mg/kg body wt.)
in drinking water. Repeat once every month.
Or
as directed by Veterinarian.
Withdrawal Period:
28 days for meat.
7 days for eggs.
